You Can Be Anyone When You Secret Shop

Do you like to pretend? Ever think of being an actor? Well do we have the job for you? Try secret shopping it is fun way to pretend you are someone else. Secret shopping is when you call a company and you pretend you need their service. For instance, you could call a hotel and pretend you just got married and need the honeymoon suite. You would be secret shopping them to see how their service is. As a secret shopper, you would judge things like how they treat you, did the hotel offer any specials, did they invite you in and did they suggest looking at their web site. Or did they just say the price and hang up? Believe it or not, secret shopping is a business that a lot of companies are looking in to these days. There are so many competitors out there now that companies have to find a way to stay above the rest. So they are hiring companies or individuals to do secret shopping for them.

Restaurants have been doing this for years. However, restaurant secret shoppers do not call the restaurant, they would eat at a particular restaurant and then report back about the service and the taste of the food. That is kind of more like spying. That could be fun too. But whatever we call it, secret shopping is to help a company stay ahead.

Your secret shopping job could be to call self storage facilities and see how they hold up to the rest. You could pretend you were just offered an exciting new job and have to move to Paris, France and there is no time to arrange to move your furniture over seas so you need a storage unit in your area. You tell them you need to store your whole house. While secret shopping them you want to see if they help with the size, like asking you how big is your house. Or how many bedrooms do you have? Will you have garage items to store too? Did the company you were secret shopping try to help you with the best service or did they say it cost this much and left you hanging.

You could pretend your twenty-five year old son finally moved out and now you want to store his bedroom before he decides to come back. Once again see if the storage company you are secret shopping offers you a correct size. Since you were so happy to get rid of him, did they try to take advantage of you by pushing a garage size unit just to get more money out of the sale? After all, you would probably pay just about anything just to not have him back.

Did you know even the founder of a certain popular supercenter also did secret shopping. One time back in 1986, he lived in Columbia, Missouri and his store along with one other were the only stores in town. Then they built a mall and another discount store was put in the mall. He was caught or seen in the new store wearing his bib overalls checking out the competitor

So get a job secret shopping. It is fun and everyone is doing it all the way from hiring employees to do it to the owner and founder of a big discount store chain checking out the competition himself.
