I’ve assumed a new identity at PhoneSmart and recently started editing the blog entries. I’d always had the duty of posting the daily entries to the website so it’s not a huge adjustment to fix a typo here or there. It has made for interesting reading and I feel like I’ve gotten to know the personalities of our PhoneSmart employees. I had always quickly read over the entry before posting it, but now I pay close attention to every word and edit about 8 or 9 entries a day. Each writer has his or her own flavor and it all comes together to form excellent content.
definitely has a unique edge over other call centers, not just in the industry, but call centers in general. When is the last time you felt like you got to know the voice on the other end of the cable company or credit card company? Sometimes I feel like businesses try to make it seem impossible to connect with their employees. As if they exist in some alternate universe which their customers can never get to. That is exactly what PhoneSmart does not want. We want callers and clients alike to feel like they’re talking to a neighbor down the street, someone that cares about their needs.
