Why You Should Use Secret Shopping

As much as we deal with secret shopping, it just seems as if everyone in this world would know about secret shoppers. Perhaps the businesses out there that do know about it, just don’t care to share with the competition. I guess there are some who are just satisfied with the business they currently bring in and it doesn’t matter if they lose business to the competition. In some cases, it is the store employee and not necessarily the company itself that is not using sound sales techniques.
If you care about the competition or you care if your employees are doing a great job, then secret shop them. Evaluate your employees. Unless you want the employees to run the business as they deem fit, then you don’t need to read any further. But if you are in for the long haul, know what your employees are doing.
I called to secret shop a facility that we do not answer for. The call was completely up to me. I asked for a couple of sizes and the prices were given without question. I asked for a couple more, and they were completely happy to give me those as well. By the end of the call, I ended up with 14 sizes with heights and their prices on each, including the special. Hopefully your employees don’t do that. But if you want to find out, then learn to secret shop. Or you can hire us to do the job for you. When you do hire us, you might as well consider it an additional sales training course for your employees to take.Note: Make sure they are utilizing the techniques given to them so they can improve their performance. If they do, they’ll enjoy their job just that much more. Happy employees equal happy customers.
