What Do You Do For A Living?

I have written about this topic before in another secret shopping blog, but the topic still remains fresh when people ask me what I do for a living. I sometimes wish I could say secretary, doctor, artist, or some other one word description of a job. Instead I go into this story about the company I work for (PhoneSmart) is really part of the nationally know self storage company, StorageMart. Then when I say I work in a department that does mystery shopping, peoples eyes light up. Mostly women’s eyes that dream of shopping for a living and getting to keep what you buy. That is not what I do. Our department is hired by different self storage, property management, senior living, assisted living, and mobile storage companies to monitor and evaluate their employees. Our typically shop involves the phone but we have and possibly can do in person shops for your business as well.
