Use Gasoline Prices To Your Advantage
-
It is very important to keep our sales techniques up to date and fresh. We can do that by thinking every day about how to approach our callers and what we can use to entice them to reserve a storage unit. In the past few weeks the price of gasoline is pushing upwards again and our cost to get from one place to another is pretty heavy. No one seems to have a solution for this dilemma but we can work it into our closing. It might go something like this:
CALLER: This store is close to my house and on my way to work but I think I want to call a few more places.
PHONESMART OPERATOR: I don’t blame you. I always want to know I got the best deal, but since this storage facility is so close to your home and one your way to work, you won’t have to burn any extra gasoline to get to your unit. The few dollars another store might save you could cost more in extra gas consumption.
The weather can also present opportunities.
CALLER: The place down the road has that 5 x 10 in a standard unit for $20 less per month.
PHONESMART OPERATOR: That does seem to be a savings but our 5 x 10 is a climate controlled unit. This can better protect you big screen TV from extreme temperatures and humidity.
To change things up and keep on your toes sometimes the daily news is your best friend
