I’ve never been a fan of Haunted Houses. I don’t even like scary movies, so why pay some one to chase me with a chain saw. Yes, I know. It’s all make believe, but what if that man falls and slip with his chain saw? There goes a leg, probably my leg.
Speaking of legs. You may have heard the bizarre story about Mr. Whisnant, who bought a smoker at a auction. When he pulled what he thought was a piece of driftwood out of the smoker, he got more than he bargained for. Yes, a human leg had been safely stored in the smoker he purchased. Mr. John Woods’ leg had been stored in his smoker after it was amputated in a 2004 plane crash.
Mr. Whisnant gave the leg over to authorities, who then gave it to a funeral home. Mr. Woods now wants his leg back. Mr. Whisnant bid to keep custody of the leg he indirectly won at auction, however his bid was unsuccessful to win the bid with the funeral home. Mr. Whisnant has begun charging $3 for adults and $1 for children to take a peak inside the infamous smoker. He plans to raise the price if he persuades Mr. Woods to share the profits.
It’s no Haunted House, but perhaps just as spooky.
