I spent the majority of today preparing Quarterly Reports for our clients. Being the end of the year, it’s interesting to see how clients have progressed throughout the year. I’ve only completed the reports for 4 or 5 clients; each one takes at least an hour if everything runs smoothly. So far I’m proud to see the improvements of specific managers and the teams as a whole.
There is a certain amount of accomplishment and pride when I see a familiar manager improving each month and becoming more confident in their sales performance. The common factors in the improved managers are that they are willing to accept constructive criticism, determine to make an improvement each month, and ask for help when they need it.
I think sometimes we, as part of human nature, are hesitant to admit we need a little help now and then. But it’s better to get help and understand your job than it is to keep on going questioning and unsure of yourself. Once you know the answer or solution to your problem you become confident and that shines through in your performance and daily routines.
