Sales Training Trends In 2008

Welcome to the New Year! Total Quality Assurance Services (TQAS) had a great 2007. Looking back over the last year, we can recognize some of the areas our team can improve and we’ve enjoyed many successes in the Secret Shopping Department. One of our biggest hits of 2007 was the introduction of the Feedback Mystery Shop. Self storage owners have jumped on board this new mystery shopping trend and their sales teams have already seen significant sales increases and improved customer service. TQAS also transformed from primarily a secret shopping service to offering a full service Sales Team Property Management service by offering several sales training services and monthly secret shopping and sales coaching tools.
I predict that another one of our newest services, Telephone Teachers, is the sleeper hit of 2008 and will be a big hit once self storage owners get a taste of this intense training tool.
TQAS has gone through some remodeling as well; we changed office buildings, added a baby to the TQAS family, and brought on a new team member to prepare for more growth. We’ve also reorganized the structure of the secret shopping department by appointing Sarah Little as Director and two Account Managers, Natalie Thomas and Maryann Geyer.
Sarah Little and Natalie Thomas represented their Sales Management Services and Secret Shopping Programs at the Vegas show last September and look forward to chatting with old friends and new acquaintances again in February. Sarah will also be hosting a roundtable discussion about How To Effectively Use A Secret Shopping Program.
This New Year’s Day represents the possibility and ambition that the next year holds for TQAS. May you all be prosperous with many successes in 2008!
