Hi, I need to hire some movers. How much does your moving service cost?
At first glance, it seems obvious that this person is in need of some movers. But when you take a closer look there are some holes to the story. Why do they need movers? When are the moving? Where are the moving? Are they moving everything they own or just a few things? Will they leave some of their belongings behind? Will they need to move again soon or is this move permanent for a while? The questions could become endless.
It’s important to realize that in sales, How much does this TV/Car/Laptop/House/Self cost only means that the customer doesn’t really know the right questions to ask. It’s up to the salesperson to determine which model, size, etc suites them best.
So when a prospect calls your facility and says, How much are your boxes? You should tell them and then say, do you have a place to store those boxes or would a be more convenient for you?
