It’s that time of the business progression where you’ll likely hear of PhoneSmart’s renovations starting all over again. We’ve renovated a couple of times to increase the number of call center reps we’re able to house internally. We’ve come to a point where renovations are very likely to begin again in the near future to house even more call center reps. As we’re taking on new clients and new stores on a monthly or even weekly basis, we just keep adding more reps to handle the amount of calls needed to take.
Although it has slowed down a bit in the call center, it has been busier than I anticipated which of course is a good thing. When it’s busy that means people are still renting, our storage clients are still making money and it makes time go by so much faster. It motivates the reps because they have good chances to continue making reservations.
We have already started the hiring process in which we’re trying to prepare for the busy season and give us ample time to train them to be the best they can be on the phone. By the time comes when we’re able to reserve unit for students we’ll have all of our newbies versed in the business.
