On Site Property Managers

Property management is a full time responsibility for the property owner. Often in self storage or yacht storage, the property manager lives on site for added security. By having a property manager on site, it also allows a short turn around time for any problems that might arise. This alone can save the property owner money because they don’t have to wait for law enforcement or a handy person to come by and fix the problem. Sometimes the on site management team will consist of a husband and wife pair that shares the duties of property management. One person can be in the office and the other out on the site. Because living arrangements are part of the benefits, the salary can be adjusted to allow the living quarters in the total salary of the on site manager(s). In larger markets there is still room for additional employees, like a relief manager. Property managers usually take great pride in their property as it is their backyard and home.
