Mother Nature and Self Storage
-
It always seems like if the weather is bad, the call center is not busy. It seems as if it is raining, snowing, sleeting, or if there is a monsoon, no one wants storage. Saturday was an especially strange day of weather because it was the middle of March and snowing. None of this weird and wonderful precipitation was sticking however; the last few days had been above fifty degrees so the ground was still really warm. Missouri is a strange state for weather.
Back to …I guess that when the weather is bad, people do not want to think about getting a storage unit. They want to sit inside their warm, dry homes and watch television, a movie, their kids play, or some other fun activity that involves staying indoors. No one wants to because that would require thinking about hauling possessions from one place to another, with multiple trips involved. This is only my personal reasoning behind why the call center is slow when the weather is bad; it may just be a strange coincidence, or maybe I only notice when the call center is slow when there is an outer lying circumstance such as the weather.
