Keeping Total Quality Assurance Training Going Smoothly

  • When training your sales reps for your own direct sales business to do the best demonstrations possible, it is vital that they are asking a lot of questions throughout in order to make sure that the potential customer is with you the whole time. You can make sure that they are doing their jobs by having quality assurance training once a week or on any type of regular schedule. This will ensure that your business is running as efficiently as it possibly could. There are a few things that sales reps will do that could turn into bad habits. By having QA set up, you could be certain that they these minor defects do not turn into bad habits that would be very difficult to break.

    There are a few things that you might want to watch out for when watching your sales reps do their demos. One thing that will usually happen is that they will always lose their excitement for what they are doing. When a sales rep first starts they are hungry, they are broke, and they have something to prove. All of these can be very big motivators to make someone be successful. You can make sure that they do not lose this by offering quality assurance training at your location. A sales rep can be his own worst enemy. If he could just be a robot it would mean that he would be the top salesperson in the entire world. The ingredients for success are simple. You need to make sure to be over the top energetic and positive and sustain that level of energy all of the time. If you do then you will be able to sell more than anyone else in the entire world. If you could just tell your sales rep what to do and then they did it then everything would be a lot easier. This is not the case.

    Sales reps will lose their enthusiasm within about a month or so of starting the job. It has been referred to as a sophomore slump. They come in and are ready to make some money and that excitement for the job and the product helps them to sell a lot of units right off the bat. Then when they get their bills paid and have a little bit of money in the bank, all of a sudden they lose that spark. That spark is what was selling units for them. To ensure that they keep that you could have quality assurance training  for that department. It is hard to tell by yourself whether or not they have lost the spark or not. It is hard to tell that it is gone because they may be saying everything that they were saying before and being polite and trying to crack jokes but it just seems as though that something may be missing. They can get that spark back and keep it indefinitely but it is up to you to continue to find new ways to motivate your sales reps on a daily basis. Something that would be a good idea to make sure they you are doing everything possible to keep your sales reps motivated is to have regular quality assurance training for your company. This should help keep your business running at maximum levels.
