Is This Worth The Trouble?

Our Secret Shopping Department recently invested in a new way to record our telephone shops so that a caller ID in the self storage store will show a local number. This has proven to be an excellent way to provide even more quality to our secret shopping and sales training programs.

The idea behind the service is excellent. So I am disappointed that I’ve been having trouble getting responses to my emails. There have been a few tweaks that need working out and in our business, time is money. Isn’t that true for any business? If the phone systems are working properly then our shops aren’t getting done. After several emails concerning one issue, I received a reply. Even the reply was a bit disconcerting because they offered no explanation or resolution to the problem.

So what do you do when you find a valuable service, but the customer service is more than lacking? I guess you have to decide if the service is that valuable, or if you can find it elsewhere. I’ll be looking elsewhere.
