There are a lot of ways to make your business run as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. You could have a quality assurance plan in place to help figure out what aspects of your company that you are getting your value out of for the money that you are putting into it. Your sales reps may not be getting the message through to the potential customers in the home and that can be very costly for your direct sales business. If they are not with your sales reps throughout the entire demo, then it would be very hard for your sales reps to be able to build enough value for the customer to buy from them that night in the home. Direct sales is such an emotional business meaning that people usually get caught up in the moment when they buy. You could keep track of how they are doing by having a quality assurance plan in place for you local office.

There is a lot of information and a lot of ground to cover when you are presenting your product to your potential customer in their home. You must make sure that they are with you and not thinking about other things that how bad of a day that they had at work. Asking discovery questions is one way to keep the customer involved throughout. Ask them if they use humidifiers because this may be something that they have had to spend money on in the past. If you can show them how your product will replace something that they may already have then they will be that much more likely to do business with you. Saving money is just as good as making money in a lot of peoples minds. You can ask them if they ever are bothered by bugs when they grill outside or when they have an outdoor family event. If you can show them how your product could eliminate bugs then that would help them to make an informed decision about whether or not they would use the product. This type of plan  would help your sales reps know all the discovery questions that they could ask when they are in the home.

The next step is making sure that they are continuing to keep the customer involved as they move through the demo. You will want to have your sales reps keep the interaction going because that will help build the value of the product and increase the chances for a sale. A quality assurance plan would never be a bad idea since you will have a lot of other stuff that you will probably want to focus on. At the halfway point of the demo it may not hurt to ask the potential customer a few questions just to see where you at. This could be called a trial close and you can just get a few agreements that will help you out. You should ask the customer what they liked most about the product. You could also ask if they like this feature or that feature better. Then they have to pick something they like. You may ask them if they would use the product if they had one. A quality assurance plan could also provide a lot more questions that you could ask during the trial close.
