I love Missouri. where the weather changes by the minute. We have a saying around these parts, “ If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minute.” It’s great.
A few weeks ago, it was a really nice day. The sun was shining and the birds were singing, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Then I hear a loud clap of thunder and look outside. It’s raining pretty hard. I turned to the customer to talk about it and the rain had already stopped. In my town, when the weather changes people don’t like to shop. Then the store gets empty and you just have associates standing there.
If you are in the customer service industry or property management industry, you have to make sure your employees are being efficient with their time. After all, you are not paying people to just sit there and do nothing. You are paying them to provide outstanding service to your clients. The funny thing is, people sometimes get bothered when their manager asks them to do something. I always think in my head if they don’t want to do it, they don’t have to work there. You see, the most efficiently ran businesses, are also the most profitable businesses. It starts with the management staff and goes straight down to the person who works one shift a week.
