PhoneSmart completes monthly and quarterly secret shops for a multitude of self storage and property management clients. It should come as no surprise that one of the largest clients we have is our own call center. The Quality Assurance department randomly evaluates 2 self storage calls per employee and evaluates their sales techniques and an additional 2 calls to evaluate their customer service skills. That’s a total of 4 calls per month, per rep.
This is just one of the methods PhoneSmart uses to assure quality and excellent service to our self storage clients. We also monitor live calls and provide regular training updates to each rep, along with additional one-on-one training when needed.
Secret shopping is one of the main methods we use to monitor and train our phone reps. Each rep is able to hear their own voice and get feedback on what they’re doing well and what could use improvement. It’s a great way to provide constructive advice and help our reps excel in their sales skills.
