Captain, My Property Captain

A loyal captain will do anything for his ship.  If you ever read a story that contains a captain and a ship with a tragedy, watch the behavior and actions of the captain.  I see our call center as a ship and my co workers and I are the sailors and our director, Tron Jordheim is our captain.  I applaud Tron for his efforts when the call center has more calls coming in than there are self storage representatives on the phones.  This puts the calls into a waiting area known as threshold or queues.  No matter what time of day it is, how many self storage calls are in threshold or what he has going on in his schedule he is right there with.  He is willing to take calls until there are no calls left to take.  It is a known fact that Tron has a life outside of the PhoneSmart call center with his wife and two children as we all do but his dedication to help us in our time of need instead of abandoning the ship is appreciated.  With Tron, there is no quitting time he will work and help out if it is past everyone’s quitting time. I plan to be more like Tron by staying and helping my co workers so that they will not have to say, “Man (woman) overboard!”  I want them to know that I am here even if it is past my scheduled time.  This is a difficult task as I am a single mother and have to pick my son up at a certain time. If necessary I will go and get him and then return to help out before the ship actually sinks.  What type of sailor are you?  Decide which one because if you are not “man overboard” the other sailors may get together in a mutiny.  If the captain can go down with the ship then so should everyone else…follow the example! That includes the second in command right down to the last sailor that boarded the ship!
Tron is the kind of captain that I want on my ship and you should too.
