Building a strong relationship helps in the effort. There are several ways to build a relationship with a customer and watch your secret shopping scores increase.
One way that you can build relationships is customer satisfaction. Keeping the customer satisfied involves many things. From giving the customer options to making sure that you address their problem in a timely manner. Another way that you can help establish a lasting relationship is thoughtfulness. For example, when a customer calls me to pay their bill I try to transfer them directly to the store. I do that because I know if I were in that situation I would want someone to do all they can to reach someone to help me. Finally, the most important thing is to listen. When a customer calls or visits with an issue, don’t interrupt them. Listen briefly to that they are telling you so that you can properly solve their issue. This is a sales technique that can lead to sales increase and evaluation score increase.
