Blogging…Property Management Style

Blogging is becoming popular throughout the country.  I watch a sitcom on Tuesday nights and went to the website to see the previews from the next episode.  When I visited the website there was a section that you could read and chat with the main character.  Next to that section was a place that you could read the main characters blog.  She is still in character when she writes these blogs but they pertain to the show ideas and scripting.  It was interesting.  At the call center we have the opportunity to blog about self storage, property management, customer service, trends in the industry, secret shopping and more.  It is amazing to me that employees choose not to blog.  Blogging should not be viewed as an assignment but as a time to express yourself with very few restrictions.  I see blogging as an opportunity to express myself and hopefully through my blogs someone will learn and I will learn form other bloggers.  Different insights and positions on many job related topics could be found in these blogs.  To all of my fellow bloggers thank you for sharing and not feeling afraid to express yourself.  To my non bloggers, get with the program we want to hear (read) what you have to say!  It is your constitutional right…freedom of speech so exercise it and blog!
