There are many different career paths one could take in order to obtain one a career in the travel field based on experience, education and skills. It may also be psychological when it is analyzed. The shopper is always on their toes, watching, analyzing, evaluating and remembering the associate. This is to better the business of the employer. By ensuring their associates are practicing excellent customer service skills they are providing a better business for the customer. Finding out the customers needs and wants by utilizing the shopping industry will increase the revenue of the company while saving the company money by weeding out those that do not belong in the customer service field.
In conclusion, secret shopping is a field in which one could expand their horizons by learning about various cultures and ideas, while traveling and making some much needed money. A person that is interested in making sure businesses provide the best customer service to their customer while making money may want to pursue a career in this industry. However, a person that is not open-minded and has the ability to adjust to different settings may not want to apply for a position in this customer service based industry.
