If you have a self storage business and you do not have a website to advertise, can I just ask you why?  In these times, everyone is online searching for their needs so they don’t have to waste time on the telephone, and it’s usually because when they get off of work the businesses that they are tyring to deal with are closed.  Many people are online searching for storage.  Websites are so easy to deal with when researching the right location to store a customer’s items.  They can get tips on how to store, what to expect during the process, an idea of the cost of a unit and how to pack their belongings.  Why would you want to lose business to your competitor up the street simply because you don’t advertise online.  Many companies may want to do business “the old fashioned way”, but it won’t prosper your company if you aren’t hip to the times.  Several callers that call into our call center have found the property due to the internet that they’re on when they call.  Although all of their answers may not be answered online, they have something to work with.  They have a start to the end of their search.  You could be losing a ton of business and possible rentals of your self storage units.  Websites are not that difficult to maintain and they really don’t cost you a fortune.  You are able to get your company’s name out there across the nation.  Phonebooks and advertising bulletins off the highway only advertise to those in town.  What about all of the customers that are traveling from out of state and need storage?  They have probably found their units online, so when they arrive they already have something set up.  Don’t limit your potential.  Advertise via web.
